Edit, View and Delete Records

The Edit, View and Delete buttons are standardized throughout PMXpert.  To edit view or delete a typical record, follow these standard instructions:

1.Find the record you want to edit, view or delete.
2.In the selection grid, click to highlight the record you want to edit, view or delete.

1.Click the Edit button to the right.
2.NOTE: If the screen is divided into more than one section and contains more than one Edit button, ensure that you click the Edit button directly to the right of the selection grid containing the record.
3.You can also double-click the record directly in the selection grid.
4.The corresponding [Edit] window will appear.
5.Make your changes and click Save.

1.Click the View button to the right.
2.Note: If the screen is divided into more than one section and contains more than one View button, ensure that you click the View button directly to the right of the section of screen containing the record.
3.The corresponding [View Only] window will appear.  This window allows users to view the information, without the ability to edit or delete it.
4.When you are done viewing the information, click Close.

1.Click the Delete button to the right.
2.IMPORTANT: Ensure that you click the correct Delete button! If the screen is divided into more than one section and contains more than one Delete button, ensure that you click the Delete button directly to the right of the selection grid containing the record, paying attention to which section of the screen contains the record.
3.The Confirm dialog box asks if you are sure you want to delete.  Click OK or Yes if you are sure you want to delete the record.
