Steve Mitchell is the owner and President of Profit Systems Inc. the parent company of the EventPro and PMXpert software divisions. Steve started with Profit Systems Inc. in 1984 when the company was first founded and became the sole owner with his wife Rena in 1997.

Steve is responsible for all software design and project management at Profit Systems Inc. as well as overseeing the future direction of the company. His other duties include coordinating the activities of Profit Systems Inc.’s exceptional marketing, development and support team.

Steve is originally from England and lived in Jamaica for six years before moving back to England and Wales in 1970 and then to Canada in 1978 where he obtained a degree in Engineering Physics. Steve is an avid rugby fan and played for thirty years before retiring from the game to focus on the gentler sport of golf.

Richard Thorne is the Director of Sales and Marketing for PMXpert Software/Profit Systems Global. Richard came to PSI in 1992 after a successful career as the owner of a distribution company. During that time Richard had custom software developed to manage his companies and saw first hand the many financial and organizational benefits of computerization.

Richard realized that a computer is just an expensive and oversized paperweight unless it is running a piece of software that fits an organization's needs and wants.

Although Richard's primary responsibilities are with sales and marketing he is also involved in the ongoing development and upgrading of the company's software products. His goal is to help make the most powerful and user-friendly software in the world.

Chris joined Profit Systems Inc. in May of 1988 after graduating from his Micro Computer Management Course.

In addition to coordinating software development and technical support, Chris develops all internal software and handles our network administration and hardware maintenance.

Chris’s broad range of technical skills and rare versatility make him uniquely suited to managing the variable technical needs of the PSI office. His inventive mind and resourceful nature make him an indispensable member of our team.

Chris expresses his love of sports and nature by taking an annual canoe trip in Northern Saskatchewan. He also enjoys golf and hockey.
