Service Request Module
|
| The Service Request Module expands your options for receiving asset service requests, making them easier to organize and manage. This module allows people to send asset service requests by email into the special Requests area of PMXpert, eliminating the need to install PMXpert on every person’s computer. The request emails only need to contain basic information about the asset and service required, which is an advantage when the individuals sending these requests do not know the terminology of your maintenance department.
Instead of allowing non-technical users to disorganize your system by entering information directly into PMXpert, you will direct all service requests in your facility to the designated email address. The maintenance manager can review the recorded requests, assign the requests to the appropriate assets, and create work orders, all in a few easy steps in the same screen.

Prioritize at a Glance with Find, Filter, and Status Codes |
PMXpert’s superior, user-friendly Find and Filter features allow you to pinpoint groups of requests that need immediate attention. Use status codes and priority levels to aid in grouping. Apply additional parameters for more specific results, ensuring that you’re viewing top priority requests and dealing with them first.
The status codes are a fabulous way to keep you organized. You create the status code names and choose what color they will be. When viewing requests, the status code colors help you distinguish at a glance the progress of the request.

Add Attachments to Requests |
Attach photos or detailed documents to requests to quickly and clearly convey your message or recommend a solution to your maintenance crew. Attachments help you call attention to the problem and avoid misunderstandings when describing your request. You can include files such as complicated diagrams or detailed documents required for installing a part. Photos can also be used to convey the condition of an asset. You can even include web addresses as attachments - viewing them from PMXpert automatically opens a web browser to that page!

From Email Request to Work Order in a Flash! |
It couldn’t be easier to create a work order from an email request:
- Check for email requests
- Add the request to PMXpert
- Select the request and click Create W.O.
That’s all it takes! PMXpert automatically transfers the information from the email to PMXpert to the work order, preserving data integrity and saving you time by avoiding re-keying or using copy and paste. Of course, PMXpert also allows multiple opportunities for you to review, edit, and add data to requests or work orders.
